This is the face of a new Swedish Bloodtracking Champion, SeVCH J Southpaw & OtterCreek Ray of Light. It was a warm day and very dry conditions, some disturbance from fresh wildboar tracks and a capercaillie lifting from the area, Ray stayed focused and completed the overnight track like a pro – completing her series of 1st prize tracks to become champion. Well done!

12 amazing training days with some of our youngsters on wild partridge, quail and snipe in wonderful Croatia. This is how life should always be – watching young bird dogs develop their hunting skills on wild birds in their natural habitat, eating nice food with good friends and enjoying life. Myra, Evert and Mack did good, making use of the wind, the terrain and many opprotunities to find birds.

Our youngsters Myra (Northern Arrow’s Mackmyra import Finland) and Evert (OtterCreek & Southpaw’s Jack of All Birds import USA) x-ray result for hips A!

Amazing day in the middle of January, the sun was shining and the weather was warm for the season. The birds were soooo difficult, some opportunities with too long shots, but also some really nicely presented pinned birds by Ray and Thelma. So thankful and happy for days like this.

We had some nice hunting days together with our friends and dog families. The youngsters showed some serious skills bagging the difficult late season pheasants and Thelma and Ray got their first wild boar shot for them. So happy to see all our dogs working. Looking so much forward to a new hunting year together!

We wish all our Weimaraner and hunting friends a Happy New Year!

Young Evert, 1 yo,(Ottercreek & Southpaw Jack of All Birds), is learning fast how to find and bay the wild boars to the shooters. Only this week he has 3 boars shot for him. He is focused and persistent, getting the boars on move. Great job!

Rainy day. Thelma and Ray did good, bringing out the game to the shooters. Moose was not allowed to shoot and the wild boars did not pass a shooter in a good range today. Torbjörn got to shoot a roe deer for Thelma.

This weekend we had an opportunity to enter SBnK (Breton Club) field trials and our young Myra was rewarded with 1st prize in both days! Saturday was sunny and offered perfect conditions for bird hunting. We had good amount of birds in the hunting grounds, both partridge and pheasants, 4 dogs out of 12 were rewarded with prize. Sunday was dark and rainy with very little wind, we still found some birds in the cover of high grass and trees, also 4 dogs rewarded. I’m very pleased with Myra’s energy and hunting drive, at the same time she is so focused and handles her birds in very nice and calm manner. It’s such a pleasure to work with her!
