Snaiper’s Sky, 15 months, was the first pup from our S-litter to enter the field trials this season. And what a start it was! She was rewarded with 1st prize in youth class the first day and was the only dog out of 10 entries to qualify that day. The second trial day gave a 2nd prize. Quite impressive of a young dog to handle the difficult wild birds on Öland so well. Congratulations and well done Micke and Agneta Svedberg!
What an accomplishment! Evert (Ottercreek & Southpaw Jack of All Birds) wins SKF 25 Anniversary trial and CACIT with an amazing score of 9/10 points in field and 10/10 on the retrieve! He is the first Weimaraner to win a CACIT in Sweden. Huge congratulations Adam Dschulnigg!
Our lovely Fury won the club match in retrieving at the SWeiK annual championship with maximum score 10/10 (deep water retrieve/rabbit track and retrieve). Many thanks and big congratulations to Karin Ryberg for this great achievement!
Snaiper’s Indy, born in our first litter in 2007 has been by my side for 14,5 years without fail. A tireless hunting companion and a game finder without comparison, our first FT champion, club match champion and more than any titles can ever describe. A beautiful mind, my dear friend, you have always been my role model, also a great role model to our latest litter of puppies that weren’t even yours. Thank you for everything my dear, dear friend. Until we meet again.
Time flies, the puppies are already 8 weeks old and moving out to their new homes! I’m very happy and thankful that all pups moved to hunting homes and many of them had Weimaraner friends already waiting. Wishing you all good luck with your grey gems!
The 16th of August is finally the day we are allowed to let our dogs off the lead again, so where better to do this than in the vast highlands up north! Many young dogs with their people gathered for two days training opportunity. Sky, Scully, Nova, Signe, Sårk and Skall from our last year S-litter showed some style and speed. We had plenty of birds and opportunities, wonderful days! Aunt Myra showed how its done.
Snaiper’s Supernova
Snaiper’s Sårk
Fantastic job in retrieving tests by our pups from last year’s S-litter – Snaiper’s Supernova water retrieve 10/rabbit track 8, Snaiper’s Sårk full points – water retrieve 10/rabbit track 10. 7 out of 11 pups have entered the retrieving tests and all of them passed with flying colours. Now they are qualified to enter the field trials in autumn. Very proud and happy, well done everybody!
Puppies were born on the 1st of July – 3 males and 6 females – very even and nice litter. They eat, sleep and grow like they should, Ray is a fantastic mom taking care of everything, I just enjoy myself.
We are proud and happy to present two award winners, granted by the Swedish Weimaraner Club:
Evert Best FT Performance 2020
Myra Best Young Dog 2020
Our own Evert (Ottercreek & Southpaw Jack of All Birds) was rewarded The Best FT Performance 2020, based on highest score (field and retrieve combined) on FT and Myra (Northern Arrow’s Mackmyra) was rewarded with the Best Young Dog 2020.
